Orange Desert

 ‘Orange Desert’ was inspired by visiting the Perry Sandhills near Wentworth, Australia. 

Visiting the desert sand hills on an overcast day felt like I was on another planet with the diffused light softening my vision, casting a unique and otherworldly atmosphere. I have recreated the contrast between the vibrant orange hues of the sand and the muted tones of the sky. 

This print is printed onto ultra mart paper with archival inks. 

The original artwork photographed for this print was created with acrylic, spray paint and thread.
