About

I grew up in rural Australia, where my mother—an artist and art teacher—always encouraged me to experiment creatively. From an early age, I had access to a home studio where I could play, make mistakes, and develop my artistic voice.

After moving to Melbourne for university, my practice continued to evolve, focussing on printmaking and installations. Today, my work is deeply influenced by travel and the way we experience place.

I use a combination of paint and hand sewing to capture the diverse landscapes, cultures, and textures I encounter. Paint allows me to express shifting light, colour, and atmosphere, while hand stitching adds texture, intimacy, and a sense of time. The thread mirrors the layered complexity of memory and place.

Each piece becomes a visual record—a reflection of the moments, movements, and environments that inspire me.
