'New York'

New York:

"A city! It is a grip of man upon nature. It is a human operation directed against nature, a human organism both for protection and work. It is a creation."- Le Corbusier 1929. 

Printmaking is also a human act. In this design I hope to create an illusion of what can be sensed, felt and perceived in New York.'

size: A3 on 250gsm printmaking 50% rag paper.

layering process: four layers of screen print, spray paint, hand stamps and hand embroidery. 

notes:  Due to the nature of hand generated art prints there may be slight indifferences between pieces (e.g.: slightly more yellow spray paint highlights compared to another piece). I like to think I am a machine but in this life I am only human. 

This work comes unframed.
