This artwork is inspired by visiting the Sahara Desert in Morocco. I was struck by the dynamic landscape and how the colours changed so much throughout the day and night. 

'Sahara' captures the essence of its vast, shifting sands through the dynamic use of spray paint and hand-stitched thread. Textural stitching introduces a tactile depth, echoing the raw energy of the landscape, while precise lines and intricate detailing reflect the delicate wind-formed patterns on the sand’s surface. Together, these elements evoke a kinaesthetic response, inviting viewers to both see and feel the desert’s movement and texture.
